• New construction of the midsole and outsole allows the shoe to easily adapt to the ground, improving stride stability.
• More Release Grooves in the midsole promotes greater adaptability on rough terrain.
• The TrailTack rubber outsole provides more grip on dry and wet conditions.

Flexible protection

• New Ballistic Rock Shield technology protects the foot from stones and debris while adapting more easily to uneven terrain.
• Ballistic Rock Shield technology now includes vertical grooves for lateral adaptability.
• The gaiter tongue on the heels secures the gaiters for extra protection on the trails.

Soft cushioning

• Our new DNA LOFT v2 midsole makes the Cascadia 16’s cushioning 5% softer and 20% lighter than that of the Cascadia 15.
• The DNA LOFT v2 midsole is super soft, yet durable.
• The extra 2mm of cushioning adds softness.
• Drainage holes allow water to escape quickly so nothing weighs you down.
